1. The standard we work to
DSAtlas aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That covers IS 17802, the Indian standard for accessible information and communication technology under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, which follows WCAG 2.1 AA.
2. What you can expect
- Pages are built to be used with a keyboard: each starts with a “Skip to content” link, and the keyboard focus is always shown.
- Pages are built from headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, so screen readers can move through them. Errors on a form say what went wrong and are announced.
- Light and dark themes, and a choice of density and accent colour in Settings → Appearance. Pages also follow your browser’s text size and zoom.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are turned off.
- Signing in needs no puzzle or memory test: password managers and pasting work in every password field.
3. How we check
On 11 October 2026 we tested the public pages (home, sign-in, sign-up, pricing, organizations, privacy, terms, cookies and the guide) with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, in light and dark themes, on a laptop-sized and a phone-sized screen. No failures of those criteria were found. Four smaller structure warnings were fixed the same day.
Automated tests find only part of the problems. We have not yet had the product reviewed by people who use assistive technology every day, and the pages you see after signing in (the dashboard, charts and the coding editor) have had less checking than the public ones.
4. Tell us about a problem
If something is hard or impossible to use, write to support@dsatlas.in with the page and what happened. We reply within 24 hours and, where we can, send you the information you needed in another way while we fix it.
